8 Reasons for a Coach

CEO and Executive Coaching

Executive coaching discussions focus on decision making strategies in support of the owner’s personal goals and company vision.

Leadership coaching, sales & marketing strategies, cash flow management and family business issues can be discussed depending on the owners priorities.  Additional topics such as strategic planning, operational systems, succession planning, exit strategies, acquisition strategies, and dealing with uncooperative partners can also be discussed in these business coaching sessions if the owner chooses.

A monthly business coaching session will help you set goals, develop action plans and stay on track to achieve your personal vision.  You will be coached and mentored by an experienced executive and business coach who will inspire you to become motivated, and begin the process of moving your company forward to the next level.

Diagnostic Work and Tools

As a business owner, you will receive the following diagnostic tools and assessments.  These tools help your business coach understand the state of your company, set priorities and determine the organization’s strengths.

Strategic Business Leadership® (SBL)

SBL is an easy-to-use, five-step strategic planning process developed to meet the needs of a time-constrained business owner. By helping owners lead their companies strategically, instead of by the “idea of the week,” SBL enables owners to achieve their personal and business visions of success.  SBL is also the basis of identifying the necessary systems and processes required to allow the owner to delegate the management of the company more effectively.  The SBL process is ongoing as part of the executive coaching process and is used as the model for creating and achieving the owner’s vision.  The five steps to accomplish this task are developing the owner’s and company vision statements, performing a professional Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat (SWOT) analysis for both the owner and company, set near and mid term goals, develop strategies to achieving your goals, and coach you through the implementation of a strategic plan.  We will also review this plan on a regular basis and adjust it as you achieve your goals and grow.

Management Diagnostic Questionnaire (MDQ)

The Management Diagnostic Questionnaire is an online questionnaire that all new members receive to ensure they get the greatest benefit from the Executive Coaching Sessions. The MDQ is comprised of approximately 300 questions to assess your business’s current performance against the owner’s business priorities. The output of this data is a graphical comparison of the company’s priority performance vs. priority importance. The MDQ also serves as a basis of record of your company’s current priorities and will be used to benchmark your progress over time.

TTI Success Insights™ Assessments

TTI’s Assessments and personal reports are built on Target Training International's Style Insights™ for personality, leadership, sales aptitude, interests, attitudes, values and the motivational preferences of the owner.  In total, three TTI Success Insight assessments are included in the diagnostic work for each owner.  Assessments are also available for key executives and staff upon request.
